Covid

We have changed many things in Cheeky Monkeys in light of the Coronavirus crisis in 2020. Everyone entering Cheeky Monkeys needs to book online so that we can manage capacity and collect Track and Trace information.  A non-refundable and non-transferable table booking fee is required, this will be taken off your entrance fees at reception. 

Bookings can be made online only.  There are also many Terms and Conditions on the booking page, that need to be read before booking.  By paying the deposit you are agreeing to these terms.

Cheeky Monkeys Soft Play Centre

*A Bit about us

 

Cheeky Monkeys is a Children’s Softplay Centre situated in Fairwater, Cwmbran that has been open since 14th January 2009. The building was renovated upon opening and covers a massive 9000sq ft. We offer plenty of free parking on site and are situated on the main bus route from Cwmbran Town Centre.

A single stand-alone business set up and owned by Colette and run by the fab team. Cheeky Monkeys aims to provide a superior entertainment venue, with the opportunity to enjoy the adventure of play together in a relaxed family atmosphere.  We offer structured and unstructured play in a safe and stimulating environment with separate play areas for different age groups.  We aim to keep kids active by physical activity and mental stimulation, by giving them opportunities to perform activities they need to develop, such as running, jumping, crawling, sliding, bouncing, as well as developing mental and risk-taking skills.

All in all, Cheeky Monkeys offers a great opportunity for the FAMILY to interact; parents/carers can join in with their children and make the experience fun and exciting!

 

 

Opening Times

Daily with 3 times sessions- 9.30am to 12, 12.30pm to 3 and 3.30pm to 6.  (May not all be available on Sundays)  Please note, booking is required for all sessions at Cheeky Monkeys.

Bank Holiday/ Christmas Eve/ NYE- Only 9.30-12, 12.30-3 sessions available.

Closed Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

 

Safety and Security

Parents can be sure that their children can play freely and SAFELY here at Cheeky Monkeys. 

We have-

 

  • Security gates on both the entrance and the exit that are controlled by staff at reception.

  • CCTV recording 24hours a day

  • Alarmed fire doors, so if your child were to wander off, we know about it!

Together with our rule that children must always be supervised by an adult- this makes a perfectly safe place to bring the children!

The soft play equipment has been installed by a specialist company and conforms to BS 8409:2002 standards. It is checked and cleaned daily and deep cleaned on a weekly basis.  

Comfort



We provide a bright, clean and spacious eating area with leather sofas for your comfort! Both the inside and the outside of the building are colourfully decorated with our own family of monkeys fooling around!

Babies/ small toddlers


Babies are catered for here at Cheeky Monkeys. We have a separate baby changing room, a babies feeding room and baby food warming facilities. High chairs, walkers and bouncers are also available, please ask staff to assist.

We offer 5 separate areas are at Cheeky Monkeys to cater for children up to the age of 12!

Parties

 

 We have 3 funky party rooms which are situated off the main play area. They are adaptable to cater for either small or larger parties of up to 40 children!
